Steven Levitt is the co-author of the wildly popular, best selling Freakonomics book and its sequels. Levitt has published more than 60 publications studying crime, politics and sports through the framework of economics. He was chosen as one of Time magazine's "100 People Who Shape Our World". A survey of economics professors named Levitt their fourth favorite living economist under the age of 60. He hosts a podcast The People I (Mostly) Admire. He's taught economics at the University of Chicago. He graduated from MIT and Harvard as summa cum laude.
