The Managing Director of HP Village Management, LLC owns and operates retail shopping centers in Dallas, Texas and Charlotte, North Carolina and is part of the ownership group that recently purchased the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. He is the Chairman of the Board of Sunoco LLC and the President of Charter Holdings, a private real estate investment company. Washburne also co-founded and co-owns the M Crowd Restaurant Group, which operates Mi Cocina Restaurants and The Mercury. He served the US government as President and CEO of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. He graduated from SMU where he is an executive board member of the prestigious Cox School of Business. In 2022, the university awarded Washburne with the SMU Distinguished Alumni Award.
